Bruce T. Royal - Of Counsel

Law Practice:  

Bruce Royal has practiced for 30 years. He has a broad practice which includes counselling individuals, estates, trusts, privately and publicly held companies, and nonprofit organizations in various matters, including tax law, estate and trust administration, and estate planning as well as domestic and international tax matters both corporate and individual, and has represented many clients before the IRS and in the Tax Court and federal District Court.

Prior to private practice he has served as tax counsel to several large international companies, including Marriott and RJ Reynolds. Most recently he has practiced in Montgomery County and advised individuals and small and medium-sized businesses.

In the community Bruce has served as counsel to several nonprofit organizations and volunteered his services to his church and scouting organizations. Bruce has served as counsel to the Barnes Foundation. He has served on volunteer committees for Lower Gwynedd Township. He has also been active in state and local political activities.

Bruce is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, where he has served on committees for each of these organizations and published articles and notes appearing in professional journals and publications. He has lectured to tax and law professionals in estate planning, estate administration, trust accounting, real property like-kind exchanges among other topics. He is an adjunct professor at Montgomery County Community College and Bucks County Community College.
